How Many Napkins Will You Need?
If you are using cocktail napkins at the bar or hors d'oeuvre table, plan on ordering 2 to 3 napkins per guest. The bartender will place a cocktail napkin under each glass when serving your guests. Since guests will normally return to the cocktail or juice bar several times, it is recommended that 2 to 3 napkins are ordered per each guest.
Custom printed cocktail napkins are also ideal for the wedding cake table. Cake is typically served on a small plate, therefore, a small napkin is all that is needed to serve the guest along with their slice of cake. Guests usually go up to the cake table once for a serving of cake. If using cocktail napkins for serving wedding or birthday cake, plan on ordering 1 napkin per guest. Remember, a small napkin for a small slice of cake.
When ordering personalized cocktail napkins, please note that you may choose either a design or a monogram but not both as designs and monograms are both large in comparison to your custom text.
