Personalized wedding napkins
Ordering personalized napkins for your wedding or special celebration? Here are some questions commonly asked by our customers when placing their napkin orders.

Napkins are a necessity at any celebration or formal gathering such as an engagement party, bridal shower, wedding rehearsal dinner or wedding reception.Personalized napkins have become a popular staple at many wedding events, enabling the wedding couple to personalize their special day or say thank you to their wedding guests in a special way.

Wedding napkins can be customized to compliment any wedding theme or color scheme, but choosing the custom options that are right for you can be a little confusing without the proper guidance.

1. What napkin size should I order?

The first thing that needs to be determined is the proper napkin size to order. There are 4 basic sizes to consider when ordering your printed napkins.

Cocktail napkins (also referred to as beverage napkins) measure 5” x 5” and are typically used for serving drinks at the cocktail or juice bar during cocktail or social hour. The bartender will place a cocktail napkin under each glass when serving your guests.Since guests will normally return to the cocktail or juice bar several times, it is recommended that 2 to 3 napkins are ordered per each guest.

Luncheon napkins measure 6 ½” x 6 ½” and are typically used for wedding reception brunches, luncheons, dinners and at the wedding cake table.Luncheon napkins can be stacked or arranged at a buffet table or placed on the guest tables either folded or lying flat.If you plan on using personalized luncheon napkins at the buffet or the guest tables, it is recommended that 1 to 2 luncheon napkins are ordered per each guest. One napkin per guest is sufficient for the wedding cake table as most guests will be up for a slice of cake only once.Luncheon napkins are also popular for engagement parties, bridal showers and rehearsal dinners.

Dinner napkins measure 8 ½” x 8 ½” and are typically used for formal wedding dinners.Dinner napkins are normally folded and placed on the guest tables. It is recommended that one dinner napkin is ordered per guest.

Disposable guest towels measure 4 ½” wide x 8 ¼” long and are typically used in restrooms or washrooms as a personalized hand towel for your wedding guests. Many people like the rectangular shape of the guest towel and choose to order for the guest tables because their shape eliminates the necessity for folding. If you plan on using guest towels for the wash areas, it is recommended that 2 to 3 towels are ordered per guest. If you plan on using guest towels at the dinner table, it is recommended that 1 guest towel is ordered per guest.
